I would like to take a moment to give voters a few reasons why Buck Hicks would make an excellent commissioner.

Buck is a man of honor and integrity. A man willing to stand for what is right. To look at all sides of an issue and stay consistant to his morals and values. Someone who will never just "go with the flow" and accept one-sided information.

He believes in the Constitution. Not as a historical document but as a foundation for laws in the Unitized States.

He is well read and researched. He is willing to get involved and do what it takes to make positive changes. He is fair and honest.

He is an excellent husband and father.

I really could go on forever. In the interest of time, I will just say that a vote for Buck Hicks is a vote well voted.

Whomever you may vote for, please utilize this precious right and vote November 4.

Thank you so much for addressing this. I couldn't agree more. I have just recently met Buck, but he definately has my vote! I know some people would ask me why I was so positive on voting for him when I just met him, but he is the one that is showing support for this community. I am part of COP and I can honestly say that he is already involved with this community and is already trying to make a difference. I have never met the other candidate and know little about him, but I wonder if his having not enough time to meet with us would be an indication of how he would do his job if he were elected. To see how I really feel about Mr. Hicks you could read the forum "CCP becomes COP", that's where the truth really comes out.

I do know that when I get up there to vote that "The Buck Stops Here"!!!! Do you think I could write that in?

I lost and still have to do the laundry? It doesn't seem fair.

It looks like I'll have a little more time on my hands now but you will have to settle for a helping hand. Although it's a hand that can be used to help you hold the elected guys feet to the fire. [:D]

Me too but not enough others thought it so. Now if you will excuse me I have to put another load of laundry in.

The other citizens may not realize what they've lost in a representative on the Board of Commissioners but I certainly do and I'm willing to count on his continued interest in Three Rivers.
