My name is Casey Cox and together with some other residents of 2nd District we have put together a group that is concerned with the degree of decay that has seemed to settle in the 2nd District. We have held our first meeting and intend on holding our next meeting on Saturday, November 1, 2003 at 6:00p.m. I would like to ask that any interested person from the 2nd District please contact me for more information if they would like to attend.
We are trying to concentrate on things that we can do as individuals to aid in the betterment of our neighborhoods. We are just forming this group and are open to all residents of Three Rivers, however at this time it is our goal to concentrate on cleaning up 2nd District. It is our hopes that we will be able to work with law enforcement as well as the city commissioners to tackle the issues of 2nd District.
It is also our goal to keep this issue in the forefront of all those concerned including the City Commissioners, with this purpose in mind we are asking that all those concerned with the 2nd District attend the City Commisssioners meeting on November 4, 2003 at 6:00p.m. at City Hall. I hope to see a few new faces there and I am looking forward to hearing from anyone interested in attending the meeting Saturday.
