Thanks again Ronda. So, who is next years opponent?

I know I know but I'm not gonna tell [:)].
Does anybody know whether it is possible for a husband and a wife to run at the same time?
Buck,
As far as I can see the charter only prohibits the “appointment” of a relative and not elected office. Personally, I would suggest against it just on the grounds of conflict of interest (whether real or just the appearance of). If you’re serious in pursuing this though, you might want to ask the city attorney.

Thanks for following up on my question. At this point I am only half-serious about it. Depending on how things go in the next year I may be compelled to run for the seat that Ronda does not challenge though.
Conflict of interest? Don't make me laugh![:D] Ronda and I are both independent thinkers and although we share common core values we disagree on many issues. Ronda is pretty much a moderate republican with some libertarian tendencies. I, on the other hand am a proud member of the libertarian fringe in the vast right wing conspiracy.
Besides results are more important to me then how things appear.

Assuming the Charter does not prohibit this kind of thing how does everyone else feel about this. Do you think it would be appropriate for a husband and wife to serve concurrently?

Daryl what is going on at your site? There has been almost as much traffic in the last two days as there was in any previous week leading up to the election. Liberty1st has received 7 referrals from it today alone. I was going to remove the files from the server but maybe I should leave them up for a while longer.
By the way I checked and your pages are getting ranked on Google now.
Well I'll be...
Ya got me. Can you tell if they are coming via a search engine or direct? Also, if you can tell, is it coming via the beam.to redirect?...
I do want to look into a site but I won't be able to devote time at least until the 1st of the year. I am in the process now for building one for our Knight of Columbus council. Highlighting events, where our funding comes from and what we are supporting with it.
So much web, so little time... [:)]

My best guess is that it is all search engine traffic and it all seems to be direct traffic and not coming from the beam redirect.
Do not hesitate to ask if you need some help with your site.
