FACT:

Under sheriff Dennis Allen has sent his son, Curtis to Quantico, VA. for a week-long class on "Raid Entry". This would be great training IF ONLY CURTIS WAS ON THE RAID ENTRY TEAM! Let me repeat: Dennis chose his son to go to a class, for a week, instead of having a Raid Team member go. WHY????? There are members of the team that have been on the team for years and haven't had that type of training. WHY?????

If you don't believe me, call the Sheriff's Department and ask for Dennis Allen and ask him. They will put through. I think us taxpayers need to know how our monies are being spent. I think this is an example of misappropriations of county resources and at the very least, indicates what Dennis' favoritism within the department.

If by chance Dennis received a grant or state monies instead of county monies, there is NO difference. Someone from the Raid Team should have been sent and why did he chose his son?

Another FACT:

Dennis refused to give an employee who works in the jail, time off to spend time with his sister when her husband (his brother-in-law) was tragically murdered about a week ago. Dennis said that brother-in-laws are not considered immediate family and if he wanted time off then he could take vacation or sick time - that's it. Heartless I would say. Where is the compassion? So those people who say Dennis is a warm and fuzzy kind of guy, I'm sure glad we are not friends. Technically Dennis may been write. However, as with business decisions, many factors need to be considered. I am not sure what factors he used to make this decision. We hate to say or admit it but a murdered family member should be given some unique consideration. Dennis, you should have again...used better judgment.

I really do think you should do this!! Sounds like a great plan! A plan that will blow up in your face [:I] I have printed sooooooo many pages out from this forum and have showed them to a lot of people and thanks to your comments and many others from you campaign...they haven't even had to think about who to vote for. So not only does this bad mouthing everyone has "helped Balk out" but so will passing out filers at the parade...it shows how you really have to win this race...the heck with qualifications, lets just show everyone that we will win by bad mouthing Allen and his family! So, HAPPY PRINTING![:D]

WOW..that happened to a friend of mine as well...and his boss was NOT Dennis Allen. fooey [:(]to all those mean and cruel boss/managers that are not fuzzy wuzzy like a bear that follow the rules that runs a successful business/department...even when that can't make the "better judgments"

But the county commissioners did help themselves they voted in HEALTH INSURANCE FOR THEMSELVES.They may have to pay for it themselves but that doesn't change the FACT they would help themselves but not someone who REALLY need it.

OK thank you for clearing that up...I wasn't understanding that sentence at all. That is a very sad story. I remembered that when it happened. Very sad. But how does this relate to Allen again?

I know that you are only (half kidding) but I want to be clear about one thing so nobody walks away from this with the wrong idea. I do not and would not share any posters information with any other member on this forum.

In the early days of this forum I had one partner that had access to the database that holds the IP addresses. But that was over 4 years ago and there is no one but me that has access to that part of the database now. And I currently flush all information that I can so that if someone were to access the database without my consent they wouldn't get much more then an email address (unless you as the poster included your real name etc in your profile).

I take privacy very SERIOUS and would never intentionally do anything to violate any one's trust in me. I also take ethics very seriously, which is why I do not do to much on this forum without letting everyone know why I am doing it a head of time (or as soon as possible right after).

Everyone is welcome to think what they want but I do not take a disagreement about politics personal and would never compromise principle to win a political battle.

It's your story...I think you should stick to it. I also think you need to "VOTEIN" new union reps [;)] maybe that is why Balk never was a member until now! Sounds like they are no good. Also I better tell my friend that the death in their family (massive heart attack, can't plan for that one) that their boss HAS NO SHAME and that their boss should have gave them all the time in the world that they wanted!! You my friend...need to worry about a lot more in life..because life is short!
