Hooray for Barry Miller

Mr. Miller has my vote!!! He will be a fine addition to our county government!!!! We need an honest, straight shooter with no hidden agendas who has the county's best interest as his primary goal! This we will have in Mr. Miller! Where can I get my yard sign?????

huntandfish70, I also agree with your statement! Someone needs to be hired to run our road commission who is QUALIFIED! If an applicant for this position did not have an engineering degree on his/her resume, the resume should have been thrown out to start with, period! On another note, you mention that the letter is an attempt to keep someone who "scares" them off of the RC payroll. If I was in their shoes I would be "scared" as well. You see, most all of these employees have been around for quite some time and have witnessed how said person "scares" the personnel under him. I don't blame them for wanting to work WITH a new director and not be trampled on by one. I applaud people who stand up for what they believe in even if it is not popular with all involved!!!! I hear that there is a commissioners meeting at 5 p.m this Tuesday and they will be discussing this very issue. The meeting is open to the public and the employees at the road commission need your support! All they are asking for is a qualified, experienced leader who can do right by our county. What one commissioner is trying to do is pull the wool over our eyes and get his buddy a job. Don't let it happen!!!!

Tonight's lip sync was another great one. The PITCHFORK GANG put on another tremendous show. I don't know where Matt comes up with his crew's antics. What a talent they have!!!!!
