Is Health Care as it is now going to pass?

Did not mean for any to be a gottcha. Anyway I think we are pretty close to agreement on that issue also. Thanks for an interesting and may I say fun and intelligent conversation. I had hoped for other input. Too often in the past I have made statements that were immediately jumped on by posters who did not read what was written. Then disregard for my point and often childish responses. Often I would retreat to the bushes and even the last time closed out my old profile but later re-registered with this one. Thanks for the conversation and perhaps we can continue after Tuesday's election results.

Buck, be assured I am not trying to start a pi**ing contest. I hoped it would start a thoughtful discussion involving more than the two of us. Perhaps we are the only two reading on this holiday evening. As most think of SF being full of us "lefties", when I clicked on your link it took but a few seconds to puke in my mouth (sorry) reading the blogs and comments praising "Classy Bush" for coming out of hiding and Cheny's heroic efforts. The comments following these blogs (not news items) ran about 90% pro Bush. Yes I did click your link and read before I responded, Thank You. This will be my last list I promise to leave room for others to comment. 1. Given 2. So he is a one issue candidate by default? Oh yes, they have lied about her stand on abortion so that makes two issues. 3. I agree 100% they will not learn. Victory will never be easy when they handle defeat this poorly. 4. Agreed 5. It's historic significance but not value at the time has been delutted completely by modern day baggers use of the phrase. 6. Still agree. 7. You remember: 4-3 City, 51-49 Senate, 218-217 House, etc 8. We have miles to go to agree here. 9. Still agree. 10. I did read it. I was asking if or why YOU felt personal failure of the President was necessary. Can you list one (1) alternative health reform issued by Republicans other than to kill this one? And you only need to go back a few posts for my feelings on this plan. The majority of the minority is on a vendetta here. Ethics is totally blinded by party, probably on both sides. (See answer to #8 above) Should the Republicans that have inserted themselves into this race "personally" also fail? I see about four and a half out of ten where we are not far off. Getting better. Where is everyone else on this?

1. And the South is too Conservative. So what? 2. So one Senator should wield more power than sixty? REALLY!!! 3. Republican one sided rule was changed by voters nation wide. 4. He may have gotten it the easy way but after that he earned it. No one owns a seat on either side. 5. So did Baked Beans. Lets do a smell test on both. 6. Maybe 7. It IS divided by voters. Majority rule should return. No cloture. 8. They have enough losers running in 2012 already. 9. Maybe 10. Why do you feel that is necessary? Really? I never felt Bush should have held office but I did not get all giddy wanting our country or him to fail just to be rid of him. No matter how hard he tried on his own to fail. 11. So Mass should take their ball and run home because they won't get their way. These are not kid's games. Not being a smart aleck. Just did not see much beyond spin in this list from what I'm guessing is a Republican Rag. I am not saying these are your personal feelings Buck, but you promoted this list so I must assume some support by you.
