There they go again- moving to a new facility-- if the first one wasn't making money why would a larger one be more profitable? In addition to $ for the lease, involved are moving costs, days of lost revenue to close and open the facilities, remodeling, equipment needs, supplies- all equals to more than ~$1200 per year. Yet there is no money to patch potholes-interesting. Like time for change says and I have been saying all along- mismanagement. The big three need to go- new blood needed. example GM

unowhy, Your welcome, I know how much work you did- on the clock and off the clock for that administration. Glad you're not there. Feel your pain though. Let's see what services they close next- Womens or home health or diabetes ed altogether. See ya

unowhy, You're welcome- I appreciate your input. I know you are busy, hope the kids are doing well, and I too feel the same way. TRH to do well but change the management- I know how much you did for Laurie and her daughters - sounds like you were not appreciated. Figures, They don't seem to appreciate much - get rid of nurses, doctors , staff- people who really took an interest in the organization and were all local TR citizens. ie. Jenny I feel your pain and glad to see you doing well- go to law school already. [:)]

Unowhy- Sorry to see you have concerns with the foundation funds. sorry about your father- glad to know he received good care- there are some good nurses that work at TRH. Some are even fantastic!!

Your welcome unowhy- I "know people" - TR citizens with this info- and it angers them to know of such waste. You're right- consulting fees would have cost more. I find it curious the Chambers " recognized " the facilites- patient rooms to be outdated at least 10 years- yet he did nothing about it. It's like having a 1960's ranch, with a leaking roof and flooded basement and I go ahead and remodel my kitchen for $80,000 with stainless steel appliances- Ridiculous isn't it- That's what Chambers did. Speaking of kitchens- how much was spent building a kitchen for patient families to use- in the back of the hospital that the families can't even use- but the nursing students place their books and coats in there. Again- voted no and it's all about mismanaged funds.
