Go Michigan!!! Has anyone ever heard of Bob Chapman the economist? He has even more shocking stats; yes, it seems that the 6.8% unemployment is an adjusted #, real unemployment is around 13-14%. Lets not mention underemployment, that is those who lost a job and later had to take a part-time job a Wendy's. The average work week in the US of A is around 30hrs. That means that a whole bunch of people can't find decent work! When underemployment and unemployment are factored together (which by the way is the way the unemployment rate was factored during the depression; o and the new unemployment rate doesn't include those who either run out of unemployment benefits, never qualified or those unemployed for more than 6 months) our current rates look a lot like depression rates of 25%. The US will be the first DE-INDUSTRIALIZED country! Thanks to globalism,Nixon,Reagan,Clinton,Bush 1 and 2, and soon to sign a trade agreement with Columbia (known for killing union leaders who tried to unionize coke-cola) Obama! The US is looking everyday more like Michigan! God bless the 3rd Parties of our country! P.S. as reagan once said,"I hear there are a lot of jobs in Texas and Florida"

Let them fail! They have not been patriotic when they shipped jobs to other countries, why then do I owe them my tax money? Has gm or ford ever given you guys a car? This is just one of many GM attempts to usurp us of our hard earned cash! The tax payer has already given enough to GM in 1979 and later in the 80's, I'm still waiting for the personal bail out check from them.

In my town I pay a flat fee of $15 sewer/water for 0-6,000 gallons used. My wife and I only end up using about 2,000 gallons a month, then why should I be charged triple the rate of water/sewer when I am being responsible with my water usage? Even though the city is nuts and unfair can you imagine if they privatized the water and sewage system. In Bolivia in the late 90's early 2000's an american and canadian company bought the rights for water for the entire country. The prices of water got so high that people began to spend 1/3 of thier daily wage on water. Bregades of corporate policemen would come and tip over water collection bins and pots people would put outside to collect water (because appearently water became exclusive rights of corporations); hence leading to the 2002 revolt and overthrough of the government and to the 2004 electing of Evo Morales. Moral of the story, "the poor people are always getting soaked".
