I would encourage everyone to be respectful of the Allen family at this time as they mourn the loss of a family member. Jack Trayling

I wish to bring this topic back to the fore (see original posting above) as people are making their decisions for the November 4th election. Thank you for your support of Brad Balk for Sheriff. Jack Trayling

Dan- I wish to clarify, that by including your name, that anyone would be given equal time and that Brad was not being given some type of special treatment or that his voice should not be heard as was implied by Holly. This was in no way meant to imply you were remiss in anything. Jack Trayling

Originally posted by historylight Why does Brad have any say at this point? He is not the Sheriff. Last time I checked there was still an election on November 4th. And more importantly Matt Lori's position as portrayed to the board by Brad himself was not accurate. That has now been rectified with board and Judy. Holly Anyone could have spoken to the commissioners on this issue (Riggs included) I have spoken to the commissioners on other similar issues recently. I believe that the benefit of the doubt should and did prevail here. Either way we will have a new sheriff in January and that should be the person to make the decision. We are all against "sweetheart" deals in Washington and Lansing, Centreville should be no different. Jack Trayling
