According To the USEERA law an employee who requests a leave from his or her employment shall not be denied a leave of absence by his or her employer for the purpose of being inducted into or entering into active service of the United States. By law their job is protected. Why are you not making a big deal about Dru Carney leaving for the military and returning? Its no different. Maybe you should be thanking our troops for their brave service instead of acting like little children discussing something that happened 2 years ago, only because it involves the son of the Undersheriff. Get over it. And by the way Curtis was hired by Sheriff Lori because he was the most qualified applicant. If you THINK that he was hired by Undersheriff Allen (which is 100% false), why would you wait until now to voice your opinion on it, if you are so clearly against it. PS Thank you Dru and Curtis for your honorable service to this country. REMEMBER TO VOTE ALLEN FOR SHERIFF ON AUGUST 5TH !!! www.allen4sheriff.com
