Fair Admission Prices

Three Rivers Area • Sep 1, 2009 5:47 PM

I was told today, by a 4-H member, that not only do they have to pay the $1.00 admission; but each time they leave and comne back it's another $1.00. So for those who have to go before and after school, it's $1.00 each time they enter. Does anyone know if this is true? Great Publicity for TR

Three Rivers Area • Jun 17, 2009 3:12 PM

My son and his 2 daughters went there for a while. He said the had a wonderful program for children. But when they wanted to see his proof of income so he could tithe 10%, he balked at that and quit attending. He said he donated to other organizations and charities besides the Church, and felt that he was tithing enough without them seeing his W-2.

vblainev you have put into words what I felt for a very long time. I have asked more than once how one person can make a difference; when those who can - think nothing of wasting our hard earned dollars and frittering away long earned pensions. But I feel as if I am just beating my head against the wall. A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have. -Unknown -

Animal Waste Ordinance on the Agenda

Three Rivers Area • Apr 18, 2009 10:47 AM

On the topic of sand boxes covered and uncovered. We have a cover for ours and we live out of town. But, when my grandchildren are here and playing outside it is uncovered. I have caught our neighbors cat in it while it's uncovered and the kids are still outside playing. So, just because you say something about animals in the sand box, it doesn't mean your don't have a cover for it. Next topic please.
