I have to say that the one thing I am left with is that Biden sounded like a broken record. His only argument against McCain is that he has similar policies to Bush. You either agree with the war or you dont, you either agree with the progress in Afghanistan or you dont; having a similar stance on those issues doesn't mean that you're the same as Bush. Its clear that McCain is no Bush, he never follows someone elses instructions, that is why he is called a maverick. Sarah Palin was the clear winner in this debate. She answered most questions without waffling and didnt need to call Obama another President Bush to make her point. She was able to argue against Obama and Biden by pointing out who they are and what they voted for. That is a very important note. While Biden wants to mold McCain into President Bush, Palin doesnt have to paint the Democratic ticket as something other than what it is. She was very confident and had a no nonsense attitude. Whats not to like about that? Biden didnt come off too well for anyone not already a supporter of his ticket. He was arrogant and very repetitive. If you have to make the same point the entire hour and a half its obvious that you either have a short term memory or like to hear your own voice. Biden needs to lighten up a little bit. Yeah, youre in a debate but its a debate with words not hand guns. The only positive for Biden is that he didnt make any obvious gaffes. When it comes to getting the message out he completely failed. All I heard was Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush. Whos Obama running up against again?

I haven't seen the pictures, only envisioned what they look like based on SJCC's description of the scene. I feel that using another candidate's property as a prop to show another candidate chewing them up was a little disrespectful. Especially if that property is defaced or vandalized in the process. At the very least, someone took the sign and used it for an unintended purpose. I can see the humor in the scene as well, But I also think that posting a photo of it would be in poor taste. However, after reading other disrespectful remarks from both sides throughout this campaign, I suppose it's no different.

Speaking of all these signs, does anyone know if there is rule about how long AFTER an election that the signs should come down? If there is not a law I'm sure there is some sort of "campaign sign etiquette". Who is responsible for removing all the signs not posted on private property?
