You have 5- other letters. Your son and other relatives. Brad is a good person. Just not the good person to be our next Sheriff. Look at the letter that Dr. Jay B. Newman Retired Superintendent St. Joseph County ISD ...."I do not make this endorsement lightly. Over my 34 years in public education, I have never endorsed a candidate." THAT IS A LETTER OF SUPPORT!!!!!!!! RR You have no credibility with me or many other on this forum. Your running down the facts about an Allen supporter running to the Prosecutors office. Assistant Prosecutor stated on this forum that Prosecutor Doug Fisher or the office was ever contacted. RR You should change your forum name to Rumor Rumor NO FACTS. KISS OFF Buck come after me. July 30, 2008 Three Rivers Commercial-News OPINION Diane Zinsmaster My Great Grandpa (Fred Lincoln) was sheriff and Neubert (Neub") Balk was the Deputy of SJCSD. Great Grandpa went to visit "Neub".... WHY" Because Neub was a good old boy. Do you think just because Great Grandpa visited "Neub" that qualifies Brad to be our next Sheriff? I think not!!! Can we go back in time. I think not. This seems to be a vote of support for the good old days, as Brad said "I want to bring back the good old boys " "Balk lives life of integrity, honesty." ....."I am Begging you to support Brad Balk".... MOM We have a MOM BEGGING for your support, come on. Then we have Michell (Anders) McNamara Balk for Sheriff, Chair Centreville. Well I won't even give her any quotes. BIG REVIEW. #1 Diane Zinsmaster MENDON Just because Great Grandpa and ("Neub') were friends that makes Brad qualified. I' I' I' I' me me me. STOP These letters to the opinion pages are from MOM, Great Grand Daughters Son, and in-laws. Brad has nothing to add to our county that we need in a Sheriff. Undersheriff Qualifications?

C.O.T.W. You make a great point. I would like to add, Brad said that it takes 5 years to become a seasoned road patrol. If Brad gets voted as our next Sheriff it would take 2 seasoned road patrol officers off the road. It would take 1 seasoned officer off the road in T.R.. How many years does it take for a Sheriff and his administration to become seasoned? No this is not one of those questions we all had in 6th grade. If a train leaving L.A going to Chicago traveling 50 mph on another train leaving Chicago going to L.A. You get my point. So we are looking at 3 new officers with zero experience needing 5 years to become seasoned road patrol officers. And an entire administration and a Sheriff with zero experience. OR Dennis as our Sheriff and administration with 42 years experience. with seasoned road patrol officers. Witch I'll add are doing a great job protecting our county. I vote for experience. Please vote Dennis J Allen sheriff on Aug 5th.
