Sheriff Candidates Question and Answer Forum

Question to Balk (or BCM), Thyng and Riggs: If you are elected Sheriff, do you plan to utilized the RAID team as it used to be and keep patrol units on the road? We all know that we need more patrol units and this would be one way to keep the ones we have on the road. I believe that the RAID team is very important and as Sheriff I will allow it to be used as it should be.

Jim that was what I was told by the club. Was not trying to say anything out of line. They also considered the fact that there were 2 other debates. So, I am not positive why it was cancelled but it was. I will see you at the 7-22 debate (or while working).

I realize that I do not address much of anything on this site. But, I do believe that my qualifications are as good as Dennis and Brad's. I also know Dan Riggs and I believe he has the qualifications needed to fill the position. (I am not endorsing him just giving my opinion). Also, I wanted people to know that the reason I did not attend the debate that was just put on was because the Sturgis Journal gave a short notice and I had my family vacation already planned. We went out of the area and I was not going to change my family vacation for the debate. Also, the Sportsmans Club wanted to have a debate on July 14, 2008. That was cancelled because I was the only Candidate that accepted. But, there is still the debate on July 22, 2008 @ Glenn Oaks College. Thanks to anyone that took time to read this post.
