Whats going on?

What a complete joke this is. Does anyone know the procedure to begin recalls? Let's not let the corruption continue, let's put a stop to it! One thing that I have not heard mention was salary. If Jim Barnes would only be doing half of his job then he should only be paid half of his salary, right! Who is going to fund his vehicle? He surely won't be able to drive a sheriff's dept. official car. We need to stand up for what is right!!!

The fact that this discussion has to even take place is ridiculous. For the present time I am going to give most of the commissioners the benefit of the doubt that they realize that they are being played as pawns. Having four administrators in the Sheriff's department has worked for over 20 years but now all of a sudden there is a push to make the commissioners make a rush decision of change. This is absurd and I agree with Jen E Jac that we are witnessing such a blatant misuse of power just to appease one individual. I truly wish they would have appeased Mrs. Monroe but that didn't occur now did it. Our county commissioners and Mrs. Wing should be making educated decisions that benefit our entire county, not for a group of persons. Does anyone know how this all came about and whose idea it was in the first place?

Pepa, I personally know two extrememly qualified individuals who have applied for the job and I was wondering how the search is progressing. That's my point! Do you understand it now? If you are a St. Joseph County Citizen and you pay taxes, you should want what is best for our county. Your criticism was not needed.

Lakelife, I have no insider information. I just would like to know who is on the ticket with Dan. I really question what the big secret is. My opinion is that possibly finding enough sheriff's dept. personnel to get on board may be a more difficult task than one would want to admit. That is only my opinion. It is not made to demean anyone, just stating my thoughts.
