Respect is when you are given an order, you follow it without question. I believe that all of our officers respect Dennis and perform their duties as given. A person can respect an individual, but you don't have to like them. Respect is also a two way street. Those deputies that you speak of, also wanted to be respected by their boss which is why they were looking for change.

Buck, When in the next city commission election? How many seats are on the ballot? and when do you have to register? I think Blaine would be a great candidate......

That was an honest question. The balloons were an excellent marketing idea. I was impressed. I just wondered if as Allen walked by they were to let go of the balloons which would have been a neat idea as well. Nothing was meant to discredit the Allens for their effort.

First of all, I did not say John was more qualified as comparing him to Fisher - I posted he is MORE THAN qualified for the position. I believe that both men are qualified. What it boils down to me is how they treat people in a given situation. Fisher is not planning on even completing his term if elected and then fires John because John feels the people deserve someone who is going to stay in that position for the entire term. Same is true for Allen and Balk (Thyng, Riggs, and Gordie). They are all MORE THAN qualified for the position. When I hear Allen's own employees talking about the way they have and continue to be mistreated - I will not vote for him either.
