DDA looks ahead

Can't disagree with this but seems to be kind of a slam on Paisano's and Pub 21 that the DDA is looking for a "destination restaurant". Also, not sure where the "leakage" is other than R. Stanley's (which was never downtown to begin with) and look where it got him.

Three Rivers awarded a $940,000 grant Mural Mall

So per the engineering firm the mall is "getting old and getting tired" but the mural itself is not part of the proposed work. Sorry guys but that is one of the things that make this old and tired. Just don't understand what we are getting for the the million bucks that's being spent.

To me the downside is that we are going from a position of knowing what we are getting in revenue because we have control of it to hoping the state follows thru with their promise. Unfortunately, my confidence level with other bodies of government tends to be quite low.
