Obama giving health care critics upper hand

Last week's Bill Maher show had an excellent panel discussing the health care initiative. They talked about how Truman tried to introduce universal healthcare that ultimately became the Medicare Act much later. Reform takes time was the gist. We are ranked 47th in quality of care to comparable nations. That is staggering. We also pay more for our health care and get less. No one calls our public schools socialism but it is the same sort of program.

He wants to speak about personal responsibility. The average self-centered person could use a dose of personal responsibility.
Election Com. suggests single polling location

I believe the Riverside Church is inappropriate as well. I am not a god hater just believe a neutral place would me more appropriate. People are not allowed to politic near polling places and Riverside Church attempts to heavily influence its constituents. In order for it to be appropriate for polling, the area where the polling would be taking place would need to be free of any religious or political posters, slogans, audio, etc influence.

Human interest stories/profiles can be written months in advance of publication. I noticed the article indicated the son would be attending college in a few months. The odd timing means it was either written in early summer or mid fall.
