Originally posted by Big Cat Maintenance support? I was told he was the head of the COURT HOUSE SECURITY. I am sure the Judges at the court house will be glad that Barnes was there for"maintenance support". This Judy wing is some piece of work! Big Cat, Judy Wing sure is a piece of something but it's not work. She is the biggest scandal that this county has within it's government and the highest paid at that. Must be nice to be at the top and deny raises to one group but then give yourself one, or deny the mother of a dying child time off and then bend the rules for your drunk friend. It is hard for me to believe that the voters of this county will stand for this nonsense. I understand that if you don't know about a problem then you can't address it, but when you are tricked into voting for a KNOWN drug user, ie: Robin Baker, then...Houston we have a problem!!! It is now time to correct it. Mr, Baker, do you really have glaucoma? Is that why you tested positive for marijuana, twice? Is it true that you were caught stealing evidence from the Sheriff's Dept? How ever did you get elected? Enquiring minds wanna know!
Whats going on?

Rally the troops...and let's get these worthless commissioners outta here!!! Absolutely ridiculous, does anybody really know what Jim Barnes does? Only thing I know that he does, is live in his mother's basement and drink LOTS of beer. Oh yeah, and snake around trying to keep his job. This should come as no surprise to anybody who reads or knows about this latest move by these WONDERFUL people, it is exactly business as usual for those in the company of the USDA and Judy Wing. This do as I want policy held by those people is coming to an end. You can bet your bottom dollar that if USDA won the primary we wouldn't even be having this discussion. Jim Barnes would still be driving around in a fully marked "Sheriff's Dept" squad car and he would still be wanting to wear the uniform. It is good to know that we as the voters continued to vote these people in year after year knowing that they have been looking after the betterment of the Sheriff's Dept, yeah right sounds to me it is one drinking buddy looking out for the other. Robin Baker...That is funny. How in God's name did he ever get elected as commissioner anyway? Correct me if I am wrong, but I do remember that while he worked for the Sheriff's Dept under the supervision of his brother-in-law, Matt Lori, he tested positive not once but twice for marijuana use. He must have glaucoma!!! If that weren't bad enough, he also got caught stealing evidence from the evidence room, is this ringing any bells? It is not only time for change at the Sheriff's Dept but sounds like it needs some changing all the way to the top. As stated before let the recalls begin.
FACTS: Our Undersheriff

Originally posted by trading tales What facts about Curtis have been posted correctly?? All I hear is hearsay. DO you know for a fact or anyone else that this trip is for RAID. You know...who gives a S*** what Curtis got sent for? Whether it be a class for RAID Training, Meth Training or baking cookies. The point being made here is that USDA did not "Post" the upcoming training or simply ask the MANY Deputies that have years and years more service than Curtis if they were interested in the training. He just sent him!!! Why is that? It certainly can't be because the majority of people eligible to go to the training are Balk supporters, can it? It must be because Curtis is SO much more qualified than anybody else who works for Sheriff's Department. Or it could just be complete and utter B.S. I also love the talk on here about giving or not giving tickets. Hell, Allen or Books couldn't even begin to tell you HOW to write a ticket let alone get themselves in a position to give a warning for a violation. Funny, just too funny. Question...Who holds USDA accountable???
I met Dennis Allen today and...

Sheriff Candidates Question and Answer Forum

Originally posted by carolynsa Yeah, I feel Dennis has paid his dues in leadership, and should be the candidate up for the sheriff position! Yeah, lots of work/comittment! But, guess what we all have been there, and we have to EARN our STRIPES!!!! BLAH BLAH BLAH...You can definitely tell you guys are related, he thinks he should just be handed the Sheriff's position too. Thank God we live in a Democracy and it is left to the people to sort it out and not an individual. As much as it pains me to say it, I have to agree with you on the fact that we ALL have to earn our stripes. However, the majority of us don't see it the way you do and don't believe that USDA has earned anything other than a swift kick. If recollection serves me right, he was given a job by a Balk and was handed the Undersheriff's spot by Matt. Now, because he has been a CRAPPY Undersheriff for 19 years, he has EARNED the right to be Sheriff? This holds no water with the people and that is not how you earn something. If Brad has never earned anything, he has earned the respect of many many people, something that is very important to win any election.
